White Sox Field Days

imgres
Thanks to my awesome sister and brother-in-law, we got to enjoy a day at U.S. Cellular Field at the Chicago White Sox Family Field Day. We had a blast exploring all the parts of the park you don't typically get to access to, like down in the dugouts, the batting cages and the locker rooms; plus there was all the food, beer, and amazing views of the park you could ever ask for. Thanks Mike and Michelle!

I managed to get a few shots in, before the boys got fed up with me trying to get them to stand in one place or another. When your children grow up you always try and raise them properly, but of course as my parents did for me, I allow my boys to make their own choices and hope what experiences I have and any wisdom I can absorb can help steer them to be good and decent people and make the choices that are best for them. I teach them tolerance, acceptance, and the virtues of integrity and honesty. But I have to admit I breathed a huge sigh of relief when they became Sox fans. Whew. Can you imagine Cubs hats hanging in our house? I mean, there's tolerance and then there's insanity.(Obviously I am kidding, please don't flood my inbox.)
